Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

What a way to meet the neighbors
Well we got to meet all our neighbors tonight! Oh and we got to meet the West Des Moines fire department. Good to know that if we need them they will be here in like 5 minutes. Another good thing to know that if someone burns food in their apartment and make the smoke detector go off then the whole apartment has alarms that go off. (No it was not me that burnt food!! It was the guy in the next apartment)
Welcome to apartment living. On the bright side....The girl that lives above us is pretty nice. She thought she started it because she just turned her oven on to cook some eggs for supper. I told her that we thought it was just our apartment until we opened the door and seen the hall had flashing lights.
Oh and it was freezing outside I am glad I took my coat.
