Anniversary

After 2 years of TTC, lots of tests, and a Hysteroscopy/Laparoscopy to remove several polyps,
Clomid/IUI #1 3/14: cancelled due to surprise BFP 3/8/14.
Beta 1 3/11: 398  Beta 2 3/13: 728  Beta 3 3/20: 11,482
Surprise BFP turns into Surprise Twins!

Re: Bah Humbug.

  • Depends on the candy. If it's the good stuff  (kitkat, snickers, twix, reese's, etc) then we usually do a small handful per kid (usually 3-5 pieces). If it's small stuff, then they get a whole handful. We don't do fullsize. but if we did, one would be all they'd get. This year, we'll do hot dogs again plus some small candy (nerds, sweetarts, gum, etc) unless I can find a good deal on the good stuff.

T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

Hot dogs?? is that candy or do you hand out weiners to kids??Lol!

We do 2-3 small bars per kid.  Depends on their adorableness.  And their politeness.  My candy-giving policy is not transparent.

Lol.. actual hot dogs. We did it in our old neighborhood and it was a HUGE hit, so I'm hoping it'll go the same in the new one... we just pull out the grill and call it Happy Halloweenie! We give out freshly grilled hot dogs (to adults and kids) and candy to the kids. It's been a fantastic way to get to know our neighbors really well! I just hope it doesn't flop here in the new 'hood.

  • I have so much fun handing out candy to the kids.  :)  My H asked me what I wanted to do Halloween, that is exactly what I said.  Its so cute seeing all the little kiddos in their costumes.  So cute and they are just so sweet!  We don't have any of our own yet, so....
