Anniversary

After 2 years of TTC, lots of tests, and a Hysteroscopy/Laparoscopy to remove several polyps,
Clomid/IUI #1 3/14: cancelled due to surprise BFP 3/8/14.
Beta 1 3/11: 398  Beta 2 3/13: 728  Beta 3 3/20: 11,482 
Surprise BFP turns into Surprise Twins! 

Zoey and Garrett born 10/24/14 at 36+3

    When I lived in a town where we did have trick or treaters everyone got a piece of candy as long as they were in costume.  I had zero tolerance for high school kids who didn't even attempt to throw a costume together and just wanted candy.  Go buy some. And get off my lawn.

    I will give any to the kids that dress up, and if they say "Trick or Treat" then I usually tell them to grab a few pieces.

    If it's a teenager that is in a sweatshirt and jeans, I will ask them what they are.  Then I tell them they have to say Trick or Treat or they don't get any candy. lol. I'm that mean old lady.

    I'll give handfuls of candy to any young kid, regardless of supervision, but if they're older teens, they only get one piece. And usually it's the crappier stuff. I also do NOT give candy to adults who bring their newborns around. Um, no. Go buy your own candy. I'll just say "aw, cute kid! Have a good night!" We do grill hot dogs though and we give those to anyone, just one each. It's our tradition.. Happy Halloweenie!

    In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

    T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

    I'll give to children of all ages who are dressed up....until 8pm at which time all the little kids are home or in bed, so my light goes out, dog gets let out of his house, and Halloween is over until next year.

    Ha- we don't care who shows up, they all get candy.  But not many people come.

    I won't be home this year, so I don't know what DH will do.  I hope he will stay home and hand out candy.  The neighbor kids came by last year and were really cute.

    Everybody gets candy, although I tend to give more out to really cute kids.  Not as a rule though, it just happens.





    dx:  Unexplained IF (mild MFI)

     TTC since May 2011, 1 year trying, and then 3 TI, 2 IUI = BFN

    IVF #1 (May 2013):  Antagonist Protocol: 
    24R, 18M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 2 early blasts, no frosties = BFN
    IVF #2 (August 2013):  Lupron Stop Protocol: 
    28R, 23M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 1 partially hatched blast, 7 frosties = BFP
    EDD 5/23/14, blighted ovum (6w6d), D&C (8w6d)
    FET #1 (April 2014):  transferred 2 5d blasts = BFP

    If they're in a legit costume, they get candy. I was one of those teenagers who still went trick-or-treating with my friends until I was like 16. I ALWAYS made sure I had a good costume (my last year going out, me, my sister, and our friend were Aurora, Belle, and Snow White, and NOT the stupid sexy versions!).

    So yeah, if older kids show up and they're not putting forth any Halloween enthusiasm, they're not getting jack (or maybe they'll get the Whoppers that no one else wants).

    LOL! I've never known anyone who really liked them!! I mean, they're candy, so God knows I'll eat them if they're what's available, but they're by no means anywhere even close to the top of my preferred candy list.

    If you are in costume, you get candy. No costume = get off my lawn!

    I went trick or treating in costume with friends until I was 21. Yup. We got candy everywhere we went because we were in costume. So much fun!

    Whaaa??? Whoppers are freaking AMAZING! Definitely in my top 10 (maybe top 5) when it comes to candy! Yum!
