that is what my child currenty looks like. we had a great dr's appt. this morning. Ben was looking at the posters on the wall of the developing baby and was like OMG this is what the baby will look like in like 3.5 weeks?! while small the baby will look like a little human at that point with all its organs, hands, feet, toes, eyes...everything.
hb was great, 175, so up from last week.
next appt. is next thursday morning. Ben will be out of town, so I may ask MIL if she wants to go with me so she can see the baby:) I think she would really like that especially since she doesn't have any daughters and won't ever get to experience an u/s with them.
Re: gummy bear
She will LOVE it! I let my MIL come once with L, my bff come with L, and my Grandmother come with C.
One of the coolest things I have ever seen was at the Bodyworks Exhibit a few years ago. They had a real fetus every week for the 40 weeks, and then a woman with a baby in her stomach. Now, once you got over the fact that you were looking at real babies, it was fascinating to see how much a 4 week old fetus looks like a normal human. It is just crazy.
Glad your appt. went well!!

@klm42404 I stay with them until the end of my first trimester. they'll do the genetic screening and then send me over to the OB.
but the OB wants to see me now. so I go and see their nurse next tuesday and then the following thursday I'll see my midwife.
so the amount of appt.'s I have coming up is insane. I'm very thankful that all my appts with the RE have been at 7:30 and so i've actually been getting to work early on those days not late!

They'll also ask about pain management. I think I said yea to the epidural before she even finished the question.
yep! Ben wants to know ASAP.
I would love to be suprised though:( Ben said if we have a boy this time around then next time we can wait to find out. haha
