When I finished listening to The Raven Boys, I was bummed that my library system didn't have The Dream Thieves on audiobook. I added my name to the hold list for the real book, and asked my librarian whether there was any plan to get a copy of the audiobook anywhere in the system. She said she'd look into it, but it might take a few weeks. This week, The Dream Thieves audiobook magically appeared in on my hold list with the status listed as "on order." She ordered it for me and put me first on the hold list! Yay! In the meantime, however, my name came up for the book a week or so ago, and I've already read it. Is it wrong to take my name off the hold list, when the librarian just ordered it for me? I know others will still benefit from the system owning a copy of it, but I feel guilty that she ordered it because I asked, and now I don't want it anymore. I think I'm the only one on the hold list. WWYD?
