American Horror Story: Coven (may contain spoilers)

Is anyone else watching this season?  If so, what do you think?

I loved season one, hated season two, and now I'm pretty into season three even though it's only episode three tonight.

  • I love it so far.

I really liked season one and didn't watch season two yet. Season one scared the hell out of me and I had to watch it during the day haha.

For some reason this season isn't scaring me at all. I guess witches don't scare me? Watch, after tonight I won't be able to sleep cause I probably just jinxed myself!

I love Kathy Bates' story and I am digging the Misty part of the story. Emma Roberts is really talented.

  • I really like it so far! I'm so happy that they brought so many people back too. Plus, Kathy bates is just awesome in general.

  • I watched some of season one and liked it, just never got around to finishing it.  Watched part of season two and was kinda blah.  Now you guys are making me want to watch season 3 though!

  • I agree, I don't think season 3 is scary at all; however, I find it much more interesting already than the past two seasons which is what I think I like so much.

Emma Roberts is doing an amazing job; I have a new found respect for her.

  • I'm obsessed.

I thought Season 1 was amazing and wicked scary. Season 2 was really hard for me to watch. It was so dark and macabre and creepy that it gave me panic attacks. No joke. This season isn't quite as scary as I would like but it's very interesting and I'm loving it.

I can't believe that the creator of AHS is the same as Glee!

Emma Roberts did a great job in Scream 5, too. She does horror well.

  • Out of all of the witches powers that they've shown thus far, which do you think is the coolest?  Which would you want to have?

    Killer vag. Hands down.

  • Ooooh good question @Xan921!! Tom would rather have Queenies powers, being a human voodoo doll, but I would probably want Fiona's. I want all the powers!!!

  • I only watched one episode this season (on demand, they're slow putting up new episodes.) The stupid DVR won't record it because I have a recording at 10 and 10:30. Stupid DVR.

Anyways. I love how they use mostly the same cast throughout the seasons. I was excited to see Gabourey Sidibe this season! I missed her since the big C ended.
  • @callitcompulsive DVR the rerun at 11:15. That's what I have to do since I record South Park and the league at the same time.
    imageimageimageAnniversary
  • I've been watching this season too...can't wait to see where it goes. Not super scary but def creepy and weird.
  • I've only seen the first episode, but I liked it. I can't stay up to watch it, and I'm awful at remembering to DVR stuff. I do want to see more though!

Is Emma Roberts Zoe? The whole death-by-sex thing can't be her only power, just a family curse, right? I mean, it's not like The Supreme always has that, does she??

yessss great idea! I'll set that puppy up later when I get home! The DVR does record 2 shows at the same time, but it freaked out due to recording two 30 minute shows (also the league and something else... it's always sunny, maybe?) AND AHS for the whole hour. My DVR is such a diva.
  • No Emma Roberts is Madison. The movie star.

I hope that's not Zoe's only power. My guess is she'll learn new powers at the school.

Thanks, I couldn't remember who played whom, and IMDB just has all the actors from all the seasons lumped together, and I couldn't find them.

  • I just watched this weeks episode last night and thought it was interesting.  There were weird parts *******SPOILERS*******

Such as the mother/son thing and when Queenie was masturbating to get the bull/man to have sex with her...that part made no sense to me at all.  I really hope that Madison isn't truly dead and comes back because she was my favorite.
