XP: PA mommies: Law Illegal to Touch Pregnant Belly?

My mom said that she saw on the news (she's in Bucks County) that PA has passed/is trying to pass a law banning strangers from touching a pregnant woman's belly.

Has anyone else heard this? The only web news article I could find on this was from ABC 7 in San Fran.

I would like to print this out and carry it with me so when creepers in the supermarket try to touch my belly, I have defense lol

I've never heard of it. PA would pass a dumb law like this though. I mean, not that I think it's okay for random strangers to touch a pregnant woman's belly but does it really need to be a law?

I kind of feel like people should just know to not touch someone else. I'm pretty sure I learned that in preschool.

I know. But some people are idiots. Case and point, the delivery guy from Jimmie John's tried to touch my belly today.

Also, when I was in the bathroom at a Penn State game - some random woman grabbed my belly with both hands. So incredibly gross. We were a bathroom, who knows if she washed her hands...

My mom hasn't even touched my bump. If and when a stranger touches me I'm declaring myself not responsible for my actions.

I hadn't heard about it until my mom brought it up. I don't think the case is being highly broadcasted.

Don't i WISH there was a law for it! I don't understand what gives people the right to think they can touch. You wouldn't touch someone normally, why don't we count now that we're pregnant?

@waterfall213 - thanks for posting! However, I still think I'm going to pull this out at my MIL's baby shower in 2 weeks. I only know one-third of the people going, but I guarantee you ALL of them are going to want to touch my belly.
