  • Happy/sad/scared/love/hate?

Someone else had said it scared them. I really found it to be pg-13.

  • It was just unexpected!

I thought it was SO SCARY when I was younger, but re-read the book and re-watched the movie as an adult and was much less scared.

Creepy kids always scare me a bit though, so the scene from your siggy is one of the scariest, IMO.

  • Creepy kids are the worst. Children of the Corn, The Omen, Pet Semetery...

I watched the movie so many years ago that I don't remember the scare factor. However, since I recently finished the book, I'll be re-watching it soon.

  • I had seen the movie growing up and wasn't exceptionally scared. I read the book in college, and I had to take breaks because I was so freaked out.

Really? The book didn't freak me out AT ALL. I may have been more scared of the movie when I first saw it all those years go.

  • I think that the movie is, at parts, scarier than the book.

There were a few things that they kept coming back to over and over in the book (the hose as a snake, the hedges) that I didn't think were scary at all.

The twins in the movie, however? Terrifying. I'm so glad that you have scary-Danny instead of scary-Twins. :shudder:
