Weekend plans?
Eliza Mae - September 16th, 2014
Re: Friday!
Tonight - relaxing and maybe laundry
Saturday - Grocery Shopping and cleaning, then going to Philly to visit my college roomate. Probably dinner and lots of drinking
Sunday - Come home, visit parents/ pick up the pup
Friday- pumpkin picking tonight
Saturday- my little brothers Conformation. I think I'm puppy sitting my sisters dog, and carving pumpkins.
Sunday- getting new couches and I think DH has to help take my aunt and uncles dingy at their marina out which is in Earleville and then drive it back up to Oxford.
Ben left this morning for Oregon for 10 days so my plan for the weekend is to relax!
I want to workout tomorrow morning. I'm hoping this happens because last week I woke up and just didn't feel well enough to go, so FX for tomorrow.
then I want to do some cleaning so that I can be a bum the rest of the time Ben's away. I have several discs of Dontown Abbey to watch so I plan on getting some serious time in with that.
The Rowdy Roberts
Tonight - Uville football game then out for drinks in the city with friends
Saturday - Football game, then working around the house
Sunday - Nada! Hanging at home, prep cooking for teh week and football!
Tonight- Going to the mall to buy a saw (don't ask) and making a dinner/playground trip out of it.
Tomorrow- Nothing really. N is trying to get the area ready for our shed, so I figure I'll watch the girls, as per usual, and he'll work outside. We got invited to a Halloween Parade at 4, but I'm going to wait and see how the day is going.
Sunday- My grandfather and dad are coming over to help with said shed. I'll probably throw something in the crock pot and sit back and watch.
Saturday - relaxing and probably shopping for a deep freezer. I haven't started pumping yet and I already have over 50 bags of milk in our freezer. We clearly need for freezer space!
Sunday - winterizing the trailer for the winter. Sad we didn't get down at all this fall, but can't wait for next season! Then home for football....and hopefully a win!
Ah, pumping. My favorite past time. How much are you freezing in each bag? What kind of bags are you using? I HIGHLY recommend getting a deep freezer. I love mine for milk...and then afterwards for fooooood
Tomorrow we're having a yard sale from 8-12 & then I plan to relax.
Sunday is church & then getting ready for the next week.
boy (n): a noise with dirt on it
Awesome. I actually pump one side while feeding on the other side...instead of making it a separate occasion, but I've always had an oversupply so that's possible. Your milk will calm down and stop leaking one side while feeding the other. It sounds like you already have an oversupply, so I wouldn't work on building it up too much bc you don't want to be overflowing all the time. My Medela bags leaked a lot last time so I'm using the Nuk ones, and lately I've been using the Target ones, which seem thicker like the Nuk ones. I'm no bf/pumping expert, but if you ever have Q's, please ask!

wow, that is awesome you have a freezer supply already. Around 9 months, I wasn't producing as much during the day so I had to start supplementing with freezer stash. M never took more then 3.5 oz in a bottle so I was lucky. I used the a brand of bag that begins with a L. Can't remember the name now. I never had a problem with them. I always thawed them inside of a container or Ziploc bag just incase it had a tear in it after being frozen.
**Plans below may change since DH has a cold and we all know that that means!!!
Saturday...Heading to 202 this morning. I have $30 to spend at Carters. Then we'll do Christmas Tree Shop and grab some lunch. Then either after M's nap or tomorrow we are going to get pumpkins.
Sunday...Not sure
Thanks for the info. We left the house too late to stop there. Someone had to get home to nap.
Thank you both for the recommendations on bags and defrosting. Going to start the bottle tonight or tomorrow, so Ill try the Ziplock bag tip! And I think I'll start with pumping one side while feeding from the other and see how that works!
If you have trouble with the bottle try having J give it to him while you're not around. Many babies won't take the bottle from the mom at first. Also, I have had 2 friends whose babies refused to take bottles until they tried this one (that looks like a boob!) http://www.amazon.com/Lansinoh-mOmmaFeeding-Bottle-Ounce-2-Count/dp/B006YPTY20/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1382962019&sr=8-15&keywords=lansinoh
Also, I used Lansinoh bags- they're the ones that leaked often when defrosting.
