Splurge
Soooo my countdown to see Jared was 32 days from today. And its already been about 3 weeks since I've seen him last. And Alaska Airline's plane tickets are lowest they've been in a while! Just booked him a round trip ticket for Friday November 8th through Monday November 11th for $197.08! Woo! New countdown: 17 days!
Oh and the other splurge? I'm going to visit Jared during part of my Thanksgiving break Saturday November 23rd through Thursday November 28th. Since Jared has a roommate (who is always around and loud), I've been looking through Groupon for some sort of weekend getaway for the first weekend I'm up. I found a group for $75 a night for a Spa King Suite. The description? "This intimately luxurious guest room is furnished with one premium king-sized bed. There is a two-person jetted tub adjacent to the bed, facing a gas fireplace and mantle-mounted television". Woo! Spa in the room next to a fire place! I'll try to add a picture. Two nights, complimentary deluxe breakfast came down to $166.05 total.

Here's the link of some of the pictures. Our room is the 4th picture in. Jared didn't want to spend a lot for a weekend getaway, so although we could've found nicer bed and breakfast places, this one has great reviews on tripadviser AND doesn't break the bank
