A few years ago I bought some jeans from Banana Republic on clearance for like $15 each. I went to wear them a week later and gained some weight and they were tight. They weight kept getting added on, the jeans kept getting pushed to the back of the closet.
I am cleaning out my closet to switch to winter clothes and pulled them out. I could only get them like 3/4 the way up my thighs. I am giving them away because I don't like them anymore, but I MUST get on track and lose this weight. There is no reason why clothes I bought almost 3 years ago can't go over my thighs.
Today, I am cleaning, so I am not going to the gym and tonight we're going to a really good restaurant, so dinner is out for being healthy. Breakfast and lunch is a go and tomorrow, to the gym I go! That I think was the motivation I needed.
On a second thought, I am keeping one pair for motivation and progress monitoring. Keep you all posted, see you in the accountability post on Monday
Re: And now I'm motivated
I've been rewarding myself for work outs (4x a week gets a reward) not weight loss, it's nice to get a reward for doing something I can control like working out.
