What the heck are they and what are their purpose??

I'm glad I'm not the only one. So I asked about them, and apparently that's all they are: little comic strips that you can create with other people on your friends list who also have the avatars. :shrugs: yeah I don't see the point.

I haven't seen these, based on this description. I guess no one I know has these avatars and does this.

I haven't seen them on fb, but teachers at my school have been using them for years for student work. They can be quite cute for kids.

It's just a fun little app that lets you make comic photos with your friends. They serve no purpose but to amuse yourself and others lol

I started playing with them months ago and then it got boring. I think they can be cute ONCE IN A WHILE, but some of my friends post nothing but bitstrips all. day. every. day. and it's getting really old really fast.

They're SO annoying... Not amusing at all, at least none of the ones I've seen (which is like every 3rd thing on my FB feed. Especially when it's a grown man making every other one he makes about farting. Not funny. Just dumb.
