Are you dressing up for Halloween?
I haven't dressed up for years but this year we're going to a party and I'm excited to be dressing up. It's a circus/carnival themed party and Shaun is going as a lion (I made him the best costume ever) and I'm going as a lion tamer. Ha.
The boys already went to a little Halloween party and we're going to trick or treat at the zoo on Saturday. Isaac really wanted to make him a tree so I made him a costume that somewhat resembles one but that he is THRILLED with and Jude has a little Batman costume that is hilarious.
What are your Halloween dress up plans?

I'm going as Marie Antoinette. (Inspired after reading Madame Tussaud!) I have the tall white wig but I didn't feel like buying the rest of the costume. So, I gussied up one of my own dresses with the blue bows and flounces and my wedding gloves. I think the effect will be good enough. And I'll be painting a bloody mark across my throat.
We are going to Highball Halloween tonight. It's like a giant Halloween block party event. There will probably be 30,000 people there. The city shuts down a main street in town for the event. Couture fashion show, DJ dance party, Drag Show, Costume contest... It will be crazy!!

Halloween is a BFD at work. Every year there is a big decorating/costume contest. This year's theme is "Era Fashion" so my department picked the 1920's & we are going to decorate like a Speakeasy. I'll be a flapper. Here is my costume (minus the pink wig):

My mom and I are spending all weekend making his costume. He's so small we basically have to make it up because none of the patterns were small enough.
