This. I just looked at that pic and said "nope" out loud. I'm not into it. Maybe it'll change as I see more, though. Or maybe once I actually see it happening he'll grow on me.

I am underwhelmed by the picture but still excited for the show. For me, Jamie can't be embodied in a picture. I have to see him in action and his chemistry with Claire for him to truly be Jamie. This picture doesn't do it for me, but I have faith.

I agree with @mrsvedo

I don't think anyone would have lived up to him in my head. Is he smoking hot? No. However, I think I will come to love him based on the character and the interactions with Claire.

I'm enjoying the picture because I think it looks great in terms of scene setting and it's making me excited for the series.

I am very underwhelmed. He needs redder hair for a start. I envision him far more built and muscular.

I won't get to see this until It comes out on dvd. wahhhhhh

But that doesn't fit the description in the book. He's not supposed to be a big muscular guy but more lean and sleek in the first couple books.

Assuming this is your vision of Jamie, I agree with you.

That said, he doesn't look like the Jamie I envisioned.
