I have nothing to add to the SP post below right now. A few non-spoilery thoughts:

1.) Fuck this book.
2.) Fuck this bullshit ending.
3.) Fuck me for reading it even though my gut told me not to.
4.) Fuck the first 3/4 of the book for tricking me into thinking it wasn't that bad.
5.) Fuck the last 1/4 of the book for ruining this series for me.
6.) Fuck it all. I'm done.

I am not sorry for cursing, just as Veronica Roth is not sorry about this poor excuse for a series finale. One star. You get one star for pissing me off this much.

    #1&2 were exactly my thoughts right when I finished reading it. I had to process it for a little while. I'm still angry at it, but I gave it 3 stars.

    Yeah, if Eli hated it this much I doubt there is any chance of me liking it at all.  This actually makes me feel better about not even wanting to read it.

    I replied below too but I didn't like it. The first half was confusing. The end didn't redeem the story in my opinion. To me, it didn't mesh with the first two books well.

    I would like to state for the record that I am like this IRL and it's just part of my personality. Once you have been shunned it is almost impossible to win forgiveness from me. VR has been SHUNNED.

    This is why I'm not reading it now. I was spoiled so I know the ending and everyone's so in their goddamned feelings over it that it's been tainted. I can't trust myself to be true to my own feelings about it. I think I'll wait until after the new year.
