I kind of rated it on a series basis. Because I loved the series as a whole. Sure, it had some issues, but because I loved the characters, I read all three books in three days, and I entertained the entire way through I gave it 5 stars.

4 It wasn't my favorite of the series but I was pretty happy with it.

I technically gave it 2.5 in my head but rounded to 3 because I liked the rest of the series.

The first half gets a 2, the last half gets a 4 from me. I'm torn overall. I can't remember if I gave it 3 or 4 stars on Goodreads.
