  yesss I love this one! So true!
  ETA: I was just thinking about what to make for E's big 1-0 birthday this year. (get party hats, invite my mom, bake a cake, etc.) Then I realized that my cat usually hides most of the time when guests are over (even his Nanny.) so... lol.   So much yes to this! When my dog snubs me I shoot him (point my finger at his head and say "pew pew") and call him a jerk.  Then I feel bad and apologize.

  My mom taught her lab to "die" when she "shoots" her. She points her finger at her like it's a gun and goes "Bang!" Scout then falls over onto her side (but never without grumbling about it!). It's the funniest thing!
