Hi all,
I've had a love-hate relationship with Mint.com for awhile now. I love that it's free, I hate that it has glitches. The most recent glitches involve double-reporting many transactions and also failing to categorize many transactions at all... so my budget page is completely screwed up. I did some googling to figure out how to fix it, and turns out this is a known problem with no solution.
So I'm over it.
Before I resign myself to manually entering everything onto a google doc, does anybody else have suggestions for other tools or software to try? I've thought about Quicken, but it looks like it is software that you have to download to a single computer. I would like to be able to track progress online so H and I can view it at our leisure from any computer. I actually pay most of our bills during my lunch break at work. And H likes to look at those things in the evening before going to bed.
I may have to just face the fact that I'll have to do it manually from now on. I used to do it manually before we got married, but after we got married the number of accounts I was tracking basically doubled. We're getting to the point where we have so many different accounts (retirement, credit cards, utilities, student loans, investment accounts, hopefully a mortgage and escrow accounts next year etc.) that it would be nice to have some program do it for us.
So any thoughts? TIA!
