CPW: I heart Grammar/Spelling
Seriously, I'm a dork.
So, which of the following tricks to help you to remember the correct grammar/spelling (or even math or science- those are fun, too) is your favorite??

After 2 years of TTC, lots of tests, and a Hysteroscopy/Laparoscopy to remove several polyps,
Clomid/IUI #1 3/14: cancelled due to surprise BFP 3/8/14.
Beta 1 3/11: 398 Beta 2 3/13: 728 Beta 3 3/20: 11,482
Surprise BFP turns into Surprise Twins!

I before E, except after C, or sounding like A as in neighbor or weigh. Also remember, Weird is weird, and doesn't follow this rule because it's weird.
When two vowels go walking, the first one does the talking. (coat, meat, team, wait)
Desert has one S, and Dessert has two, because you'd like seconds of dessert!
When you assume, you make an ASS out of U and ME.
You're/Your, It's/Its, Who's/Whose, Does You are/It is or It has/Who has or Who is make sense?
And I/And me. Take out the other people to see which one is right. John and I had pizza or John and me had pizza? Remove John, and it would be 'I had pizza'.
I didn't ever learn a thing. Those are dumb.
All the grammar/spelling/math/science/edumahcation.
Nope. My favorite is below.

PandP - I can relate.. I do the same thing, especially with spelling. Spelling has just always clicked for me so I don't understand people who can't spell. I have to remind myself that it's just not their strong suit, and that's ok! Because just like you, I can NOT do math! Anytime husband tries to explain something mathematical to me, we both get frustrated. I'm just glad we can all bring something different to the table
On that note, a favorite of mine was always "Double the C, double the S, and you will always have success". Thanks for that one, Full House!
In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

My favorite was always the riddle to spell Mississippi, but I grew up along the Mississippi river. So it was a big deal that you knew how to spell it.
I used to be an awesome speller. Would win Spelling Bee's and all of that stuff. Then after college it all went downhill. Not sure if it's because I don't use it as often now, or what. I hate that I have to now Google how to spell things.

I love all the grammar rules. My friends and I used to love looking for typos in newspapers. Our local newspaper was so bad that we called it "The Daily Mistake." We were all on the newspaper staff at our high school.
Funny story: We had just printed hundreds of copies of the paper and we found a typo. The article title read, "PDA: Innocent Act or Pubic Indecency?" We left out the L in Public so it read "Pubic." We had to go back through and re-write all the L's in with pen so we could hand out the papers.
