Happy Halloween

I'm saying that somewhat sarcastically.

What do people in the real world workforce do for Halloween?  Will your CWs dress up?  Are there decorations?  Candy?

Re: Happy Halloween

  • The women downstairs usually dress up.  One year they did a theme: zombies.  They decorate for everything, so fall/halloween decorations have been up down there since Sept.

They got onto me for not decorating so last I just kept adding sh!t on my cube enterance... so I still have pumpkins, easter eggs, tulle from my bridal shower, pineapples for summer, garland and Christmas lights... i'm set for all year now haha.

Usually candy comes tomorrow, any leftovers from handing it out, or candy their kids don't like.

  • We decorate our office. Thats all. But our schools obviously go all out in the cafeterias at least. Most of our ladies decorate for every holiday and we have a special "spooky" menu for today.

  • nobody really dresses up around here.  one of the girls wore and orange shirt that says boo out of cat tails and another girl wore a shirt with skulls on it.  I decided to wear all black so that I could tell people I was a witch or a cat but the coworkers thought it was lame so I went and bought a $2 hat from target and now I'm the most dressed up person in the office.

This is the most anyone has ever done for Halloween in the 7 years i've worked here.

and after halloween people bring their leftover candy in. no decorations, although my boss did give me a mum a couple weeks ago and another girl a pumpkin...so maybe those can be considered decorations?
