This ones personal. Lunch with BFF and she is woefully unknowledgeable about her own anatomy/pregnancy/testing because she didn't even have to try a month, I wanted to hit her it the face with a fire poker yesterday, scream "you don't deserve it," and run with arms flailing thorough the restaurant. I didn't (obviously). I sat there and tried to educate her while she second guessed me. I'm a bad friend and I don't care. She sent me another ultrasound pic this morning b-(

I get it for craft stores and for people that make stuff, but just Christmas decor and that stuff....ummm no. I also hate that Hobby Lobby puts their Christmas stuff out in June. That is way to early for anything Christmas related!

You're not being a bad friend - that sounds so incredibly frustrating.

Is THAT your UO bruins? Lol. Mine was totally a vent. I didn't have anywhere else to put it so you got stuck with it. Haha. Everyone agrees with my UOs so I never have any.

Or, someone posts something purposefully offensive and is all "whatever, we're all allowed to have opinions, I do what I want" when people call her out on it.
This may be a UO around here.. I think there is way too much blood, gore, and violence these days. On TVs, movies, video games, whatever. I really do think it has some effect (no matter how mild) on kids. I'm not necessarily blaming them for acts of violence as there are SO many factors there such as parenting, mental illness, personalities etc (though I do believe it may play a role in some ways) but it saddens me that kids are desensitized to so much, so young. I also don't like it when people dress up their kids as scary, bloody, gross things for Halloween.. and I hate that so many young kids know who these horror film characters are anyways.

It really irks me when people say they don't judge. Of course you judge. Everybody judges. Everybody has different metrics for how/what they judge, but you judge.
I used to think it was funny and unnecessary when animals wore clothing and then I had a dog who has no fur. He needs his coat. And he's damn cute in it.
Why is *every* single costume for a female over the age of 12 "sexy"?
It must be "popular" because people are buying them (or else no one would sell them).
I remember when the only sexy costume was a french maid. I am old.

Adults shouldn't wear Halloween costumes to work. Exception: occupations involving work with children elementary school aged or younger.
I gotta agree. One of our 20-something interns was wearing a princess/fairy outfit today to work. To do therapy with teenage boys. Spaghetti strap, short, white linen dress. Come on.

Yikes! They told us that we could dress up, but I just feel like as a therapist it is inappropriate. Now if I was a therapist for children, then it would be appropriate. You need to be aware of the people you are around.
Re: UO Thursday
I don't think bacon is all that great.
Those bitstrip things are just dumb.
