Aldi shoppers - couple of product recs

I tried a few new things at Aldi this week that get the thumbs up from me:

Choceur peanut butter cups.  At least as good as Reese's.  Less grainy, actually.  Come in a tub with the brown wrapper on the bottom but not completely foil wrapped.  If you do baking that involves mini pb cups, you want these!

Simply Nature Organic Marinara sauce.  I like to make my own tomato sauce from canned crushed tomatoes but to have sauce on hand this is pretty good.  Not a lot of crap in it and $1.99 for a big azz jar.

  • I've tried a few of the Simply Nature Organic products and they all have been great.

  • Nice!  I didn't know they had those organic products, I'll have to check them out.

Not sure I can get behind the peanut butter cups....part of what I love about Reeses is the grittiness of the peanut butter...YUM.

  • Thanks for the heads up on the sauce. I am an organic food snob with sauce, but I hate the cost. This is good to know!
