  I don't mind older kids trick or treating either, as long as they're dressed up. I even had a couple adults last year grab a candy. They didn't have a bag or anything, they just wanted a piece of candy and didn't want to steal from their kids. They were also dressed up.

  I agree...to get candy you need to dress up but I am non confrontational so everyone gets candy regardless.

  I definitely went ToT into my teenage years, and I don't see a problem with it as long as you're wearing a costume.

  I don't mind older kids trick or treating either, especially if they're dressed up.  I DID get angry last night at one point though.  We get a ton of trick or treaters and ran out of candy last year, so I asked the kids to take one or two pieces each this time.  A parent who came to the door with his kids ignored me, and grabbed like eight pieces out of the bowl for himself.  Causing all of his children to follow suit.  Ugh, it still makes me mad, haha.

  My UO is that I can't stand grinches. People that actually get angry hearing Xmas music in the stores when it's 'too early' etc. While I totally agree that everyone's entitled to opinions, I just think it should be kept into themselves. Let's spread the happy spirit!!

  This makes me smirk at myself. Last year we had a group of teens that came not dressed up last year and since we gave out some good treats they came 3 times. This year I had a separate bowl of candy just for those types. Anyone who was dressed up got the good stuff.. The non-dressed or repeat offenders got crap!
