Well, I did it. I posted my weight picture to my regular Facebook and a bunch of people commented. What did they say? That I should join Crossfit and get a pedicure. What assholes. Couldn't they have said, "Wow Steph, your baby is not even 4 months old- great job." NOPE. I need a pedicure and to lose more weight. I think I want to defriend ALL of them.
I was bummed that I hadn't lost that much this week, but I really don't want to lose tooo much more and I'm really not overweight. Now I feel AWFUL about myself. Awesome.
Re: SO UPSET
You are doing freaking great, and add to the fact that you just had a baby, you're doing AWESOME! Now I want to punch those people for you. I'm so sorry that they made you feel like crap.
um I saw that weight and there is nothing to be ashamed about, that is a fantastic number regardless of you having a baby 4 months ago!!
delete, delete, delete!!

Well, thanks ya'll. I really wasn't fishing for compliments (though, they helped) but seriously- I am just so shocked that someone would even think to comment something other than positive things. So the guy (yes, a guy) that said I should join crossfit is a total toolbox anyway. I wrote on his fb wall:
The next time someone accidentally posts their weight on facebook and you find it necessary to make a comment, the appropriate comment would be "Wow. Your baby isn't even 4 months old. Congrats on losing that baby weight!" Telling them to join crossfit is inappropriate.
He then responded: "You said something about motivation. Crossfit is motivating. It was just a suggestion."
My response " Until you've watched your body morph into something crazy because you carried a child in your uterus you should refrain from offering women weight loss suggestions."
He has now deleted this conversation from his Facebook wall. I am totally not all about fighting on Facebook but I had to say something. He needs to know he's an ass.
Why are people so rude? That is not the kind of motivation needed for losing weight. I'm sorry.
I'm so proud of you for sticking up for yourself and saying something to that guy!
let me guess, he's single?
