**and any other STM**

were you physically tired towards the end of your pregnancy 2nd time around? I know pregnancy takes the most out of you but honestly, I'll walk up the stairs and need to sit down for awhile. I can't clean without getting tired 10 minutes in. just wondering if it's typical of dealing with a pregnancy and toddler. I'm tempted to have my mom take over mama duties while I just rest but then I feel the guilt. TIA!

  • I'm only in my second tri and I'm exhausted. going up and down the stairs really stinks! Chasing after and cleaning up after DS takes it out of me too. I feel defeated often, especially when it comes to our house. It totally makes me want to downsize. Not sure what I'll do with a third. Thank goodness that DD is nearly a teen and while she might side eye me a lot she is learning to help be responsible around the house.

  • @ream02 I totally agree. I want a one story home but unfortunately they aren't too many where we live. I remember when I was kid loving stairs, now I curse them!

  • I'm not sure I had time to be tired. But yes this second pregnancy did seem harder towards the end than the first. I was definitely more swollen and contribute that to not being able to rest as much along with the weather.

  • vitan Amen to that! We used to sit in laundry baskets or a sleeping bag and slide down them as kids.. Now I just wish I had one of those chairs they show on infomercials that takes you up the stairs. lol

  • @bobcee the warm weather sure doesn't help, huh? we're in November and had 80 degree weather today but I'm sure pales in comparison to summer weather.

  • Yeah. The weather was brutal. DD was born in Feb so I didn't have to deal much with the heat during that pregnancy. Luckily we don't get to many really hot days up this way. But even so, my ankles, feet and even hands/wrists were huge. I also developed pregnancy carpal tunnel and had to wear braces which wasn't fun.
