CP: Morning sickness

edited November 2013 in GP Moms
I know many of you probably experienced both nausea and vomiting throughout your first trimester. But when it comes to morning sickness, what would you say you experienced more often?

Re: CP: Morning sickness

  • I experienced nothing with my son and extreme nausea but no vomiting with the partial molar due to the extreme elevated hCG

  • I had nausea 100% of the time for months. The vomiting started around week 9 and was a pretty regular occurrence until it tapered off at week 14ish. I still throw up now and then if I eat something weird or get too hungry but normally I feel fine.

  • With my first pregnancy I had little to no nausea (girl). This pregnancy I had extreme nausea but no vomiting the first 13 weeks. It's come back 3rd tri but not as bad as the 1st tri (boy).

  • With my daughter, I had extreme nausea from 6-13 weeks, but only from about 2pm until bed. This pregnancy, it is even worse nausea from the second I wake up to the second I go to bed. No puking with either.

I was nauseous and had major food aversions from 6-18 weeks, then no nausea but still some food aversions until third tri. Then I felt perfect until the last week or two when the nausea and food aversions returned.

ETA: Never vomited, but got close two times (dry heave).

  • I started getting nauseous around week 7 and still do now at week 9. I have yet to actually throw up, but it feels like motion sickness more than anything.

  • I threw up a ton. Wasnt nauseous too much. I would just throw up. Usually on my walk to work. Especially if I was wearing a skirt or it was a particularly cold day, bc you know, it would have been to easy to throw up in a bathroom while wearing pants.
