Cleaning toilets

Anyone watch Hotel Impossible? That show always makes me want to clean. I clean regularly but feel like I could do more. It's the toilets the really bother me. We have well water and the toilets have rust and hard water stains that were there when we moved in. I can scrub the normal toilet grime off but no matter what I try the hard water and rust stains don't come off. I've tried bar keepers friend and baking soda which helped some but need more. What should I try to get the toilets back to pretty white shine?

I usually just like to stick to vinegar and baking soda, but you might need something stronger! If you turn off the water at the back of the toilet and then flush it will keep the bowl from filling with water, then you could try something like Lime Away without the water diluting it. A Mr. Clean magic eraser and vinegar might also do the trick... I swear those magic erasers get rid of almost anything. Good luck!

Try CLR. It's meant for natural stains, like calcium, lime and rust.
