Tricks for removing remnant wax from jar candles?
I have several jar candles that have burnt down as far as they will go and I want to re-purpose them and use them as candle holders, etc, but does anyone have any tricks from getting the remnant wax and wick out of the bottom?
Re: Tricks for removing remnant wax from jar candles?
Also, one tip I read about was to put the jar in the sink while you are doing dishes. The steam from dish washing will loosen up the wax.
“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
"I don't much care where –"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”
