I am currently a stay at home mom in Montgomery County near the Montgomeryville Mall and looking for a full time job in the area. I have my Bachelor of Arts in Human Services degree and would love to use it. I am having a hard time finding places to apply to. I have applied anywhere and everywhere. I am looking for some suggestions on more places to apply to. I really need a job ASAP. TIA!!
Re: Looking for a job
How else do you find jobs if not career websites like career builder? And I've had great luck with staffing agencies, as long as you're in the position that you don't need benefits.
Oh got it. I usually use Indeed.com, so I'm not sure if this is the same as the other websites, but typically when I open a job up, in order to apply it links you to the company's website and you go through the application process from there. But not always, so that's a good tip. Maybe the best use of the job websites is just to search/locate jobs, but then to be sure to apply directly from the company website.
And wowzers, that's a lot of resumes! How frustrating/discouraging.
Thank you everyone so much! I do look on indeed, craigslist, monster and career builder. I am not so sure about staffing agencies though. Also linked in, I will check glassdoor though!
I have not tried group homes, never thought of that! Do you know of any?
