DH was able to go with me to the RE today. Which is good, as I was a nervous basket-case.
We sat down with my RE and went over what is next. Obviously, no more Clomid for me. He explained that the best option and most likely option for success at this point is moving on to injectables. However, they are a big step up and said there was another option of Letrozole (which is Femara apparently).
He said he has had some success with the Letrozol, but hasn't used it often. He explained that it is the route he thinks is easiest (and cheapest) right now.
So, we're going to go with the Letrozole for one cycle. If it doesn't make me ovulate, we'll move on. If it does, we'll give it 3-4 cycles before moving on to something else if we have no success.
He said he hopes the Letrozole works, but he has a suspicion that it won't and at that point we will move on to a combo of injects/trigger/IUI next.
So I'm still a bit nervous even though the appointment is over. I'm grateful to have a plan.
Question - I'm picking up my prescription for Provera and Letrozole tonight. Would you start the Provera tonight and just deal with the pathetic AF I usually get off it for 2-3 days of vacation so that we can just get on with the next steps? Or do you think wait til Monday when we go on vacation, start the Provera then and get AF when we get back? My RE said either way was okay with him. I kind of just want to get this next ball rolling but AF on vacay isn't the greatest, but my AF on Provera is usually barely more then spotting anyway.

Re: Update Post RE Appointment
If you're RE says that it doesn't matter when you start the Provera, I would enjoy vacation and then do it. I am all about no AF on vacations (even though without fail she always shows up anyways).

Happy to hear that you have the next steps and options in place.
If the AF/spotting wouldn't hinder your ST on vacation, then I would just start it now. Mine was always just spotting after Provera too, and it didn't hinder ST too much.

I guess in that case it wouldn't really matter when you started, other than what you're comfortable with.

Ditto PPs! So glad DH was able to go with you to the appt. It's got to be so much easier to have that support!
Everything is crossed for you that the Femara does the trick and you finally O! I'm also very glad your RE went ahead with trying it before going straight to the more intense and expensive injects.
As far as when to start taking Provera, talk to your H, see if he has any thoughts on it, and start it whenever you both decide. If AF isn't going to be an issue on vacation, I'd go ahead and start now. If it might, I'd wait.
