Nightmares.

I had a nightmare last night after just reading the little blurb that @seahorse01 wrote yesterday about the spiders in the banana. Except that my mind warped it, and there were spiders EVERYWHERE I turned. On the ceiling, in my bed, everywhere. And they weren't normal spiders. I was able to kill some of them by spraying them with a bug killer.

However, the one that creeped me out the most was one that was a hard-shelled spider that wouldn't die, and bled actual blood. I remember trying to spray it, and all it did was bleed everywhere it walked. It wouldn't fucking die.

So, what was the last nightmare you had?

Re: Nightmares.

  • That is terrifying!!! Total heebie jeebies right here.

I don't remember the details of my last nightmare, but I do remember that my brother died. It was awful. My brother and I are close, but don't talk very often, so it was really awkward talking to him the next day and telling him I love him.

  • I have waking nightmares a few times a week. They are the WORST and drive DH crazy because there is nothing he can do when it's happening to help me.

One time I "woke up" and saw the entire bedroom glowing and told him the attic was on fire. It wasn't but my craziness made him paranoid too and he went up to the attic to make sure. Even after he came back down I swore I could still see the glow from the fire.

  • Oh- sorry Trans :( I had a dream that I was dog sitting for Panderp and as Desty was preparing to take Sprout away, Sprout came to give me kisses and would not stop and smothered me to death while my dogs barked at her. This happened at a house my grandparent lived at over 30 years ago. It was unnerving.

  • Yikes!  I am so sorry!  That would terrify me for sure.

I think my last nightmare was that I saw some kid trying to hurt a dog and chased him down to his apartment to get him in trouble.  Then his dad answered the door and tried to grab me and I was running from him and he was super fast.  It freaked me out.

  • UGHHH Spiders are TERRRRIBLE!!! I would not have been able to go back to bed after dreaming about that.
I had a nightmare that DH left me, this one was really intense and depressing. I woke up and my heart was still aching from the dream it was terrible.

  • That's horrible. I've never actually woken up screaming from a nightmare, but I think that would do it for me... Ick!

Fortunately, I didn't have a spider nightmare, but I really want a banana and DH is still sleeping so he can't check/open it for me. So no banana. :(

But now, I have a bananaphobia.

I don't really remember my last nightmare, though.

  • Yikes!  I am thankful I decided to pick up apples at the store rather than bananas this past weekend.  That dream would have really freaked me out!

I have "bad" dreams quite often, but they aren't usually crazy nightmares.  I did have a dream the other night that DH gave me crabs.  Not really sure where that came from.

  • @seahorse01 it's okay! I have really weird dreams at times. I mean, one time after I watched a documentary about turtles, I dreamed that snapping turtles were chasing me to break my ankles and the only way to get out of their path was to hold onto a ceiling fan.

  • That is FREAKY!!!  I'm not usually one to be freaked out from spiders, but having them burst out of a bubble on a banana would have totally freaked me out. O man, nightmares are scary!  I don't have much, my last one was my H left me, It feels so real and I woke up sad, almost unable to breath.  As @Sewilson33, same thing.  Those dreams suck!!! But then I wake up and see it was just a dream, I actually had tears in my eyes when I woke up. Not good feeling

  • First, I keep seeing this and think I'm getting paged..haha

I have nightmares quiet a bit actually and have had quiet a few wake me up crying. I remember one of those was me being in high school again and being made fun of in the locker room (which never happened).
