I need toy ideas for a 3 year old girl
DD just turned 3 and I have no idea what to get her for Christmas. Between just having a birthday and having an older sister, I feel like we basically have everything. The only thing I have on her list so far is an easel. Does anyone have any "off the beaten path" ideas? It doesn't need to be expensive. I'm not loving any of this years "must have" toys for her age. Are there any toy stores or websites that offer something a little different?
Re: I need toy ideas for a 3 year old girl
1. National Geographic Animal Encyclopedia
2. Zingo Sight Words Game
3. Strawberry Shortcake Remote Control Car
4. Dollie and Me Clothes. DD loved the outfits for her and her dolls.
Art supply stuff? Get some little canvases and some stencils or stampers?
A year or 2 ago someone gave dd a cute present that was unique/fun. I think it was hallmark. It is a frame with a canvas. She paints the canvas and puts in frame and there is a record feature so she can tell a story about the picture. Dd was pretty hysterical recording it and she has fun listening to herself.
Hallmark has some other cute things. We got a Disney princess recordable book that you record yourself reading it. Dd really enjoyed that. Also they have some stuffed animals with books that the toy reacts (dog barks) when you read it.
This time of year I like getting indoor things that can keep her occupied. A couple years ago I went to michaels and put together a bin of crafts. They have little paint things for a dollar or so, and necklace kits, etc.
