Black Friday

I know some of you do it, right?

I always do. But I'm having a hard time not ordering everything I need right now just to get it over with. In that case I'll just be along for the ride with my sister- which could lead to me killing her. I always go with a list, she goes with a smile. Last year I spent almost an hour sitting in the BrookeStone store in the massage chair bc she was just walking around the mall to see if anything looked good. I tried to tell her we weren't going if she didn't go with a list- she said she's 'trying.'

I don't do Black Friday. I usually so cyber Monday instead. Toys r us leaked its Black Friday circular and they are starting Thanksgiving at 5. I heard a bunch of other stores are opening on Thanksgiving too.

I just hate people too much to deal with the crowds.

this! I'll be in NC (hopefully) so it'll be a pain to get anything big. MIL and SIL go at midnight, who knows when they will go this year with things openning on Thanksgiving. Um, no I'll stay home with Jeff and the kids.

I've went with my cousins for years, but we didn't go o'dark early and it's not too bad.

I'm almost done with my shopping so I think i'll just order some stuff online on Monday. plus I work on Friday so I couldn't go out shopping!

I did go one year with my sister and for me it was pointless because I wasn't buying for kids and don't really buy for many people.

I refuse to shop anywhere on Thanksgiving. DH and I used to go around 10:30ish. It was late enough to miss the big crowds, but early enough to still get some sales. The only thing I have ever gotten on black Friday that was a great deal was tray tables for my BIL & SIL. She had mentioned seeing some at penneys that she liked. They were $80, but if you bought them by noon you only paid $25. We got there at 11:45.

I hate shopping on Black Friday...I've always said there is no one I like enough to deal with those crowds...I'm sure that will change once I need to buy things for L...but for now I usually work. Last year I babysat my niece and nephew so my brother could go out with H, my Dad, and his friends for their annual day after Thanksgiving outing. I'll probably offer to watch them again since I'll be home with L anyhow.

I've done it once or twice & nope, not for me. I panic in large crowds & like @philaphan, I don't like most people enough to deal with that mess. M & I went out at noon on year & got amazing deals on a bunch of DVDs.

I have never been, but I'm sort of fascinated by it. I kind of want to go just for the experience.

My sister, our cousin and her friend go out at 3 am mainly to people watch and then they go to breakfast. She sent me some pics last year of the best people.

I've gone the last few years. My mom really likes it and it's good for people watching.
