Sams Club Brand Wipes

Anyone here use them?

If yes, please tell me about them.

TIA ladies :)

Re: Sams Club Brand Wipes

  • I don't, but they are probably fine. Wipes are one of those things that I feel can vary as to whether or not it bothers your baby.

We use Target brand unscented when we use disposable wipes. Most of the time we use cloth wipes.

  • ehh wipes are wipes. I feel like as long as they don't have any crazy ingredients (my mother bought these ridiculous bamboo wipes with tea tree oil, wtf?), they are all the same.

  • Oh ok :)

See it's cause right now I still have a bag left of some huggies ones I received as a gift and I like the the texture of those. (I don't know how to explain it, lol) I also received a little bag of some up&up ones and I felt like those are so thin and rip so easily.

I guess just wanted to know if the Sams ones weren't thin like the up&up ones.

Maybe I'll just buy them and find out, for $18 it comes with way more than the huggies ones for like $23, I think. Or maybe I should just stick with the huggies ones since I know we both like them.

    Ok, sorry for rambling.

    Thanks ladies :)
  • I am actually particular with wipes. When LO was a NB we would buy whatever and I found that some generics just sucked. They were basically dry, which made it hard to wipe him up. I prefer huggies one and done. I actually don't like the costco brand because I have to fight to get the wipes out and that pisses me off. I want to be able to pull a wipe and have the next come up behind it ready to go. The costco ones don't do that. I also don't like that the costco ones are just a bunch of big travel packs. I like that the huggies are refill bags and comes with a hard container. I'm also finding the costco ones are a bit more wet than some of the terrible generics we tried but not as much as I would like. So, I guess I'm picky. Someone bought us a box from costco so I had to use it. It's one of those things that I'd rather buy myself though. We also tried pampers and for some reason didn't really like those either.
Thanks to our wonderful RE our family is complete!

  • @carcrashheart, that's my biggest problem with the huggies ones and the box!! The next one doesn't come up, EVER!! I have to separate several wipes before I start changing her diaper. And believe it or not, it pisses me off. I've even had the wipes rip when I'm trying to pull it from the container. I don't even try anymore, I just separate them before.

Maybe my box is different? I don't know but it sucks!!
  • I love SAMs brand wipes! The target ones (up&up) drive me nuts because they are thin and don't pull apart easy. I always end up with 5 instead of 1. The SAMs one come apart easy, the next one always pops up and they don't dry out.

  • We have had no ripping issues with the Target brand ones. Yeah, the ones on the bottom are wetter than the ones on the top, but I've never had issues with them.

Same here. I've used pampers thick ones (can't recall the exact name) and they were ok but pricey. Target ones have treated her bum well. However, for the first month (maybe two) we used Viva paper towels and water.

Yes. If you have the cartwheel app they usually have 5% off.

  • Yeah I'm not saying they don't. I am using the bag I received as a gift and they get the job done but I feel like I use more wipes with the up&up brand.
  • @carcrashheart, you said you use the huggies one and done. Are the ones you use scented? I saw some at Sams club but they are cucumber and green tea and it seems like those are the only ones they have. Where do you get yours?
