First appointment
in GP Moms
Well, today we had our intake appointment for OB care. She asked a bunch of questions about our medical history, gave us lots of information to read, took a urine sample and tried to take 5 vials of blood. Unfortunately I didn't know they were taking blood so I wasn't well hydrated and I am a tough stick anyways so we weren't successful with that. I have to go back later in the week to the hospital lab to try again.
Good news is that our first ultrasound is going to be next Wednesday! I had to argue with the nurse today who tried to tell me that I was 9 weeks along based on my LMP. I said no I am more like 7 weeks based on how irregular my cycles are. I guess we will find out next week for sure!

they took a urine sample and blood at my first appt. and I was like is this necessary i've been seeing a RE and had an u/s every week for the past 5 weeks and they still made me to confirm the pregnancy! haha
so happy for you that you get to have and u/s next week! its amazing.

I O'ed around CD 30 too...I guess I should probably take this route too. I'm not exactly sure what day I O'ed though so hopefully the dating ultrasound will clear all that up and give us an exact date to go by!
