Manic Monday
How was everyone's weekend?!
It was supposed to be a weekend of relaxing and doing nothing, but was instead a weekend full of homework and proposal writing for work. Ugh - gross. I've felt so behind both in class and work for weeks now - it's exhausting!
I did make some killer pumpkin muffins though!

We went to my cousin's wedding, about 3 hours away. So a little weekend road trip back to my hometown. The wedding was a lot of fun. My mom got drunk way to early. (she doesn't drink much in general)
At the wedding was a guy that I had a major crush on in middle school. But he was drunk and it was totally awkward. Oh well!
Yesterday I didn't do much, other than laundry. I didn't sleep well at the hotel Saturday night, so I was pretty tired.
Today I have the test for my polyp... in 2 hours. I'm very anxious. I hate appointments that are new to me when I don't know what to expect. Just hoping time goes by fast so I don't get too worked up before.

BIL and SIL were in the area so they came to visit yesterday and see our house. It was really nice. This SIL is the one I get along with really well so it was nice to have someone to talk to. We're also glad they could see our house. We figured nobody would be seeing it anytime soon since we're 16-19 hours away from our families.
Friday night, I went out with some friends. My sister came with me, and so did DH. It was fun. I was glad my sister went with me...I don't get to hang out with her that much. I was even more shocked she had a couple of drinks
Saturday, DH had to work for a couple of hours during the day. I was lazy for the most part. When he got home, we went down to one of his friend's property on a farm. They have a shooting range. I shot my first gun...scared the crap out of me!
Sunday, I was very productive!
I cleaned up. I put up our two Christmas trees (I need to put lights on them and decorate them though). I made pumpkin whoopie pies. I went over to a friends house for a few. I also made some chocolate chip cookie dough to freeze.

Sunday I got up early and started on the laundry. Mid afternoon I went down to the Goodwill in the rich old money part of town and found some great deals. I got a huge, comfy wicker chair with a fat cushion for the front porch for 15 bucks! My mom came to meet me and we had lunch then drive back. Mil was at my house when we got there and that was annoying. After she left we finished the laundry and the cleaning up and went to bed at a decent time.
