WTF (pr not me) and an update
DH is in LV for a conference, and he just called me in tears. His best friend called him to tell him that they are expecting and will be posting on FB. At least he had the decency to call.
Here's why I'm pissed. She doesn't even have a job. He doesn't even really want kids. They fight all the time. They had just "pulled the goalie" to see what happened. I have to order my medications for IVF tonight. WHY does it feel like everyone else gets to get pregnant so damn easily? Why do people who shouldn't be having kids (financially) get to have kids? I am so pissed.
And DH is 3000 miles away. He's crying. I'm crying. We can't even console each other. I am totally broken right now.
Update: Because I need to focus on the positive, I'm posting this. I have a wonderful friend in my neighbor who came over last night. She cried with me, guys. Cried. DH called his mom, who in turn talked to my mom. I guess she said DH is devastated and she is just heartbroken because she doesn't know what to say. Maybe she's finally "getting it" when it comes to our struggles. She's been anything but supportive during this journey, but knowing that she's heartbroken makes me think there is hope she will stop saying things like, "You need to have sex when Poppies is ovulating" and "You need to be excited for your brother right now. This is a very exciting time of his life [having a second baby]" and "So, they still don't know what's causing all this?"
