Intro... again

Hi everyone :)  I had been posting on here regularly earlier this year, but took a break from TTC because of some medical issues and also getting a breast reduction.  H and I are back on the baby making bandwagon and I hope I can be accepted back on the board.  All of you are so supportive and provide so much knowledge!

T&Ps go out to those that have had struggles in their journey and congrats to all of those that are expecting and have LO's now.

  • Thanks so much for the warm welcome back!!

I feel 200% better now that I've had the reduction.  I am so happy I made the decision to have it now vs later because I am no longer in pain every day.  It was amazing how the back, neck and shoulder pain pretty much just disappeared!  Oh, and I can walk into a room without people staring at my boobs the whole time.  It's really nice :)

I had mine about 7 years ago and it was THE BEST decision I ever made! I know a few people who have done and it miss their old boobs, but not me! Not for a second! I kept putting it off because I wanted to wait until after I had kids, but then I realized how silly that was. The best part is the first few months when they were super perky and looked fake.  :) How was your recovery?
    imageimage
  • It's actually been really good.  I'm still recovering and have some pains here and there, but my incisions healed really nicely and fast.  I have no puckering or pinched skin and they are perfectly even and perky!  I also didn't have any open wounds, which I was really worried about.  Now, I am just using some scar gel to hopefully fade the scars more.  Time will tell with that.

  • That's great!  After less than a year, my scars were barely noticeable at all. It's really important to keep up with your scar therapy. I had minor surgery on my back a few years ago and got lazy with the Maderma after a few months and you can definitely tell. Hope your recovery continues to go well!
