  PandP, I was looking at that book at the bookstore after our discussion a month ago!  I wish I would have bought it.  DH is not on board at all with the paleo thing, but I would love to try some recipes, sneak them in, and see what happens.  Maybe after the new year!

  @abt8113, I've only skimmed though it, but it looks awesome and has some great recipes.  I've heard a lot of great things about it.

  
  

  DH definitely wasn't thrilled with the idea, but he did it to support me and definitely wasn't as strict. There are so many meals you can make without YH even noticing, I bet. Maybe slowly start substituting certain things (use almond or coconut flour instead of AP flour to bread chicken, start buying ingredients without added sugar, etc.) and see if he says anything.   NSA - Nestie Secret Angel. It's kind of like a Secret Santa, but you get/give something every month for 6 months.  They'll probably start another round in April if you wanna join. 

  
  

  Paleo is a diet, but not in the same sense as fad diets; more like how vegetarianism is a diet (I hope that makes sense!). Basically it's no processed flour, no refined sugar, and lots of "real" foods.

  Oh, okay... How nice.    I wanna join next time. That's fun!  As diets, my goodness I wish I could stick to something. I don't eat terrible, but I really love my junk at night...  lol
