How many months/cycles have you been TTC?

How many months/cycles have you been TTC? 12 months/12 cycles

Where are you in your cycle? CD2

Any testing plans?

Have you done anything different or plan in regards to TTC? This cycle we are back to using my digital OPK's, Preseed, Green Tea, and the EOD method. I know I O around CD15-20 so I will be temping also to pin point it but we will start EOD at CD 13.

Any goods or bads in life or TTC? Bads: This is our 1 year mark. It hurts a lot, DH is more closed off about the topic then I would like but he is asking questions. I like that DH is actually trying to understand the process more then he has been. But we do need to sit down and discuss going to an RE. I really want to go to an RE.

Thoughts, questions, concerns? I'm not sure if I should call my regular OBGYN about our 1 year mark or just call an RE. Any thoughts?

QOTD: If you could go back in time and give yourself any advice what would you tell yourself? Honestly, I would go back to 6 months before we got married and go off BCP. I would have listened to DH THEN instead of after we got married when he freaked about me going off BCP. If I had then I would have regulated by now and would have been 18 months off BCP before starting TTC.
Oh Also, I would have NEVER taken the job I started after grad school. I would tell myself to be patient and stick it out until I got a teaching job because I would have then.

How many months/cycles have you been TTC? 12 mos/12 cycles

Where are you in your cycle? cd 24/ 9dpo

Any testing plans? only if AF does not arrive by next Thurday. my mother and grandfather are coming in town on Thursday, so I would want to know before they come. Actually I would probably test Wed night, so DH would know before they were around (only if it is positive).

Have you done anything different or plan in regards to TTC? Im trying to take a more relaxed outlook since this is month 12, but I am freaking out! DH has started telling some of our close friends that we are struggling. I think he is feeling much better telling some people. We also talked about him getting a SA in January, and me calling the OB.

Any goods or bads in life or TTC? My mom and grandfather are coming next week, and I am really excited! I haven't seen my grandfather since May and my mom since June.

Aria Mai, and that is about all we agree on. I really like Bennett for a boy or a girl. I want family names to be somewhere in them, but most of our names are unfortunate.

Where are you in your cycle? Don't even know what cycle day anymore. I'm on Provera to make me start.

Any testing plans?

Have you done anything different or plan in regards to TTC? Getting an HSG done. Hopefully everything comes back ok.

Any goods or bads in life or TTC? Business is good. Just hired another employee! Started more renovations at home with first project our laundry/mudroom. It's almost done and I love the way it's coming out!

Thoughts, questions, concerns? I need to call my RE and double check on taking Clomid before having the HSG. Nurse said it's ok, but I think I may want to wait until after I get the results back.

QOTD: If you could go back in time and give yourself any advice what would you tell yourself? To be more patient and not grow up so fast.

CBHQ: What are some baby names you have picked out? For a boy, we know we want to use Grayson. I also like Jackson or Jax. For a girl, I really like Aria and H like Penelope. No middle names for either have been picked.

It looks like it's going to be an annovulatory cycle. I thought I was getting regular, but I guess I shouldn't think! ;-)

Don't stop taking your thyroid meds.. I can't help but to wonder if I would have kept up with my hypothyroidism if this all wouldn't be easier.

Amelia Rose, Lucille Rose, Joseph, or Bentley (family name, not the car)

@sewlison33 & @abt8113 - I'm sorry to hear you're at the 12 month mark.

I hope the next steps for both of you yield, if not a baby, at least a solid plan to get to baby.
@ystaalenburg - Good luck with the provera! I haven't had any personal experience, but from what I've seen on this board it's definitely better to take Clomid after the HSG since if your tubes are blocked it won't do any good anyway.

I tried drinking Green Tea and tried to be more diligent with OPKs, but I kinda failed on that part. $:\$

Yesterday was a really rough day for me depression and anxiety wise. I ended up having a panic attack; I hadn't had one for a really long time. I felt so worthless and worried about money and trying to find another part time job and just generally not feeling worth anyone's time or concern.

Get help for the depression and anxiety sooner. I feel like I've wasted so much time.

Girl - Middle name will definitely be Rose, as my mother's and mine are. For first names I like Miriam and Vivian.
Boy - I really like Henry, but DH is not a fan. We both like Connor.

Any testing plans? Heck no. I peed on so many things last cycle, it did not do me any good.

Have you done anything different or plan in regards to TTC? Just relaaaxing, man.

Any goods or bads in life or TTC?

Good - I'm still not freaking out. By 3DPO last time my heart would race and I'd get all anxious every time I thought about being in the 2WW.

Bad - UTI

( I hate taking antibiotics.

Thoughts, questions, concerns? Are antibiotics OK during the 2WW? I'll be done with them by 8DPO.

QOTD: If you could go back in time and give yourself any advice what would you tell yourself? Try harder to get a job doing what I went to school to do.

@goodwolf - 1) if you go to the Dr make sureee you tell them you are in your TWW. Some antibiotics are very bad to take when TTC. Also, have you tried URostat from CVs? That always works for me.

@Sewilson33 - I told my Dr. I was in the 2WW so he gave me a class B antibiotic that they give to pregnant women. I still don't love taking it though. As for OTC stuff, yes I've taken it but it never eliminates the UTI, and it ends up coming back with a vengeance

I'm going to start taking cranberry supplements again to prevent this ish. Thanks so much for the advice!

Any goods or bads in life or TTC? Well, we only got in one time because I O'd early... but DS was a one hit wonder for that particular month we were TTC-ing (we both got sick that week), so you never know right?!

Thoughts, questions, concerns? I'm worried we didn't do enough this month. And I really want it to happen this month because I will most likely have to have an RCS and my MIL will be gone if my due date is next month so we would have to have my mom watch DS. She'll do it, but everything with her is such a PRODUCTION... whereas my IL's are so easygoing and know DS's schedule already. So let's hope it happens this month!

QOTD: If you could go back in time and give yourself any advice what would you tell yourself? Don't wait until you're 37 to start TTC-ing ;-)

CBHQ: What are some baby names you have picked out? Boy: Zachary (no middle name yet), Girl: Amelia Claire... these are my names, not DH's... but I got him to come around to liking DS's name and I can work my magic again

@sewilson33 I am planning on calling my obgyn in January if we still are not KU. I will start talking to her about the next steps before going to an RE. That's just my plan so far. I am interested in what everyone else has to say about it though.

Where are you in your cycle? CD 21 and FF says 3DPO

Any testing plans? I was trying to use OPKs this cycle to pinpoint O but DH and I were moving this past weekend so I misplaced all my testing stuff so meh

but I remembered to get my thermometer so I've still been temping.

Have you done anything different or plan in regards to TTC? I've been taking multivitamins and a prenatal too and I feel like I get a little diarrhea (sorry TMI) and it's more pungent than usual (again sorry!). Does anyone else get this?

Any goods or bads in life or TTC? Now in the 2WW and just over analyzing every little ache or pain. Also had a final interview for a new job last week and had to go through background/fingerprinting and I'm waiting to hear from them about salary so I can officially give notice to my current employer.

CBHQ: What are some baby names you have picked out?
I had a dream once where I named a daughter Kelsey so I like that. Middle name would maybe be Ann (mine and moms middle name). Also I like Virginia Rose (my great gma's name). For boy, I had liked Mark Holmes (gpa's name and DH's middle/family name) but I feel like I've met too many weird Marks so I'm reevaluating.

@goodwolf - I take Cranberry pills every day and around O I take them 2 - 3 times a day and a vitamin C everyday. Women with weak immune systems are more prone to yeast infections and UTI's around O. So think about that next cycle. Hopefully there is no next cycle but just in case ;-)

@stephanie123456 There is no need to take both a multivitamin and a PNV, you are wasting your money. Usually one vitamin is enough, you eliminate any overage that you have. This could be the reason for the pungent, watery stools.. HTH!

How many months/cycles have you been TTC? 4/4

Where are you in your cycle? CD 31/ 10DPO

Any testing plans? Tested yesterday, no line...but looked at it later it looked faint (evaporation...i know) and DH says wait till i'm late which since period is due tomorrow to monday, would be Tues....but I'm too impatient so we compromised on tomorrow morning when we don't have to go to work, and oh have a beer and wine tasting fundraiser even that night. so to sum it up, tomorrow. It was so hard to resist this morning, but DH and I want to look at it together ( I never got the whole "how did you tell your husband?" we always assumed we'd take the test together) so I can't be sneaky.

Have you done anything different or plan in regards to TTC? tried to stop obsessing...so I didn't come on here for a while... but I'm back. It's not working out too well haha

Any goods or bads in life or TTC? DH is selling his bussiness (good, but stressful) we have no tenants in the 2nd house which is blowing thorugh savings to maintain right now (bad and stressful)

Thoughts, questions, concerns? I never get headaches. Like I got one for the first time when I was 19 and was like "woah! this is what everyone talks about?!" I don't even get hangovers...and I have had a severe headache on the right side of my head for 4 days so weird. And no cramps. at all. Usually by this point I can feel AF coming on...so I'm hopeful!

Just talk to that boy you like, it's really not that hard.

It's a secret!!!

But my two favorites are out of the running now b/c close friends just used them

Natalie and Claire (I probably would have used them together...so pretty!!!)

Our other name is totally made up and not real and I love it. Its nickname is real though, but still weird. I figure I'd give the baby a normal middle name they could use if they really hated it (this is what my mom did. My first name has never been in the top 1000 ever but I LOVE IT ...now...not so much in 3rd grade with all the Jennys and Stephanies!)

Right there with you!!! I seriously wanted my 3rd or 4th grade teacher to call me Lindsay because I was so sick of no one ever getting my name. I got over it as I got older, and now I love my name so much. Which is I want to buck the "normal" names for our own baby(ies), but DH is much more traditional with stuff like that (either that or he likes the totally off-the-wall traditional Italian names (big Italian family).

Where are you in your cycle? Waiting for it to come after m/c.

Any testing plans? Nope.

Have you done anything different or plan in regards to TTC? Nope.

Any goods or bads in life or TTC? Just waiting till my appointment Monday to see if I've naturally passed it. I'm hopeful that I have because the spotting and clots are pretty much gone now. So then I just wait till AF comes and mark that CD1.
Good - The Dr said the cysts on my ovaries are barely there now. So hopefully I will have halfway normal cycles now.

Firs Brij, I'm so sorry you're going through this loss and I hope that the lack of cycts make TTC much smoother for you this next cycle.

@nberg89, definitely try to hold out testing until 12 DPO. You're far more likely to get a false negative at 9 days than to actually get a positive.

Also, don't worry too much about the triphasic thing. My pr chart had really even/consistent temps the whole time.
