OMG I have a feeling this movie is going to be terrible. Just from this trailer and poster, I think the people who made this movie have completely missed the point.

WTF. Tris looks like the sidekick. Four is armed, she is not. She's showing off boobs AND ass in a spandex outfit. And Four is scared of heights. He would never be on that ledge. LOL

And according to the trailer, you may not be able to look in the mirror in Abnegation, but you can still somehow apply perfect eyeliner.

I really hope to be proven wrong, but it looks like it's going to blow. At least Theo James is smoking hot.

I haven't bothered watching the trailer yet. I saw this poster yesterday and pretty much thought the same things. I think they missed the whole point of the book.

I fully agree with the movie poster. I don't like how it makes Four the focus BUT I think they also know who they are targeting with this movie.

I did think the trailer looked promising. I didn't really notice the make-up lol

I will say- that my kid lost her shit watching that trailer. So for that demographic- they hit the excitement right on the money. I can't even count how many times she's watched it already. And she just about died with the kissing scene and the fact Four is shirtless and it's all tattoos!!! LOL (She is clearly my kid)

I agree about the poster, but I thought the trailer was decent. I expect a certain amount of glamorization in the movie. I still don't like the girl who plays Tris, but hey. Can't win them all, right?

I pretty much agree with most in saying that the poster is just bad, but the trailer actually looks quite good. (Although the makeup dept could have done a better job on Four's tattoos. They look super cheesey).

@myJunegirls @SnShne322 I am a sucker for a hot man with tattoos, but I agree with SnShne322 that those look like scrapbook stamps. I would think a makeup artist who is skilled enough to get a job on a major movie could at least make a half way decent tattoo.

I haven't even watched the trailer yet but that poster makes me want to punch Shailene Woodley in the throat. She looks like a Scarlett Johannson/Black Widow wannabe. Dislike.

I was really hoping that I would somehow be able to like her before TFIOS came out but alas, it looks like I won't.

I didn't think the trailer was all that good. I was less than impressed when I watched it, and actually said to myself "great, this movie is going to suck". I hope I'm wrong.

That poster is just all kinds of wrong.

It was interesting that when I saw Veronica Roth last month and people were asking about her opinion of the Divergent movie, she made sure to point out that she didn't have a say in any of the casting or the way the movie was written. She said that she was consulted for some things but in the end, the directors have the final word. I think that is sad.

There are very very very few book-to-movies that I have liked so I am anticipating this will be one of those of which I am not a fan. But I adored the book so will see it. And also, Theo James. Yum.
