So I was thinking, I know there's a few mommas to be around and few who have had kiddos in the past year....and I love keeping tabs on where everyone is at, so why not start at least an occassional check in. So here it goes:

Age of your Little One/ Weeks Pregnant: 19 Weeks

Recent Milestones: Almost halfway there! Excited to finally be showing.

How is mom doing these days?: Dizzy most of the time, not fun. Have a cold, but other then that, not as bad as I was, which is good because the busy season at work is just starting!

Bonus: What is your child's name or potential name(s): For a girl, it will be Raine Elizabeth Raine would have been part of my birthname and Elizabeth is my mom's middle name and H's aunt who passed away's name, for a boy we don't know yet, we were going to use Raine William, but I am having second thoughts...Although I love the reasons, might switch it around to be William Raine, but don't like the nn's Will or Bill, so we got some thinking to do still.

Recent Milestones: Hit a growth spurt and gained over 2 lbs in 1 month

How is mom doing these days?: Tired! Back at work and trying to get on a schedule

Weeks Pregnant: 14

Recent Milestones: Starting 2nd tri, and getting an ultrasound pic a couple weeks ago that looked like a baby and not just a blob

How is mom doing these days?: I'm good. Nausea has gotten better recently, but I'm still really tired all the time.

Bonus: What is your child's name or potential name(s): Boy will most likely be Nathan. Girl is undecided, although we've thrown around the names Alyssa and Kirsten.

We've actually decided to keep the names a secret from everyone once we've decided. We'll share the gender, but not the name we choose.

Recent Milestones: Only 7 (ish) more weeks!

How is mom doing these days?: Good! Getting excited (and a bit nervous) for LO's arrival. Looking forward to finding out if LO is a boy or a girl!

Bonus: What is your child's name or potential name(s): Keeping this a secret for now

Age of your Little One/ Weeks Pregnant: 37 weeks, 5 days pregnant

Recent Milestones: I am almost done! I can't wait to have my little one in my arms!

How is mom doing these days?: I am tired and sick of feeling icky. I never got over the nausea/vomiting. I am nervous and anxious for this big change.

Bonus: What is your child's name or potential name(s): We are team green and my husband was so frustrated with it, so I guess for paybacks he said we can't share names until this little one is here. If baby is a boy we have a name all set and ready to go. The girls name has been more difficult to pick out, I have a list of probably 8 names right now. You all will know soon.

Recent Milestones: He took his first steps today. And he runs around while pushing his little walker.

How is mom doing these days?: Good. TIRED. I feel like I'm tired all of the time. Its okay though

Bonus: What is your child's name or potential name(s): Theodore William .. we call him Teddy

I think the check in should be called Moms and Moms to be check in. Instead of new moms since we do have some ladies who don't have "little" babies anymore.

Ok I'm going to chime in. This post sort of upset me, just because there are a few of us struggling with the TTC/Infertility thing here. But then I chewed it over a bit and decided I'm going to play too, I just have much different answers:

Age/Weeks: No idea- waiting for home study to be approved so we can begin to be presented to potential birth mothers

Recent Milestones: H took his CPR class, we painted the spare bedroom in prep of it being converted to the nursery. We have a pack and play, onesies and diapers/wipes stashed in the closet.

Mom is fried these days, between work, school and homestudy stuff I need 6 more hours in the day.

Names: Samuel Joseph or Benjamin William for a boy, We cannot agree on girls names. This week potential girls names are Anna Claire and Lucy- subject to change daily/weekly.

@Kushie77 I love that you decided to play! You are definitely still a mom to be (as is anyone else who is waiting or struggling and would like to participate!) and I in no way want to hurt anyone, but also know that there's something something special about being able to see where others are at, and being able to encourage each other, vent about parenting challenges, be excited for each other or whatever as pregnancy and parenting (as well as adoption or fertility challenges ) is a new experience for many of us around here.

@mancila60 I am game for changing the title to whatever I can that will make it the most inclusive.

I had hoped that making the fact that it was directed to the mom's and those interested in keeping up with the mom's clear in the title would help those who are struggling decide if they felt up to opening it and reading or skipping it entirely.

I'm late. I was out of town all last week and just now catching up on all the new posts

Age of your Little One/ Weeks Pregnant: 23 weeks 5 days

Recent Milestones: Sleeping!

and I have been feeling baby movements and kicks for sometime now, but yesterday my husband actually SAW him kick because the baby makes my belly move and we can see it from the outside and its the coolest thing ever. I could watch it all day seriously.

How is mom doing these days?: I'm good other then this annoying extremely painful pain I have been getting on my rib on the right side right underneath my boob. It hurts SOO bad. It comes and goes but very frequent. Its really annoying and painful and I have no clue what it is

Bonus: What is your child's name or potential name(s): Jaxon James !

Age of your Little One/ Weeks Pregnant: 39w6d!!

Recent Milestones: Full term and waiting for LM to make his arrival now.

How is mom doing these days?: Can't sleep, but otherwise doing pretty good.

Bonus: What is your child's name or potential name(s): We are deciding the first name upon arrival, but his middle name will be Michael after my dad :-) He died when I was 18.
