I love Friday!! It's so wonderful!!

We get to pick up our van tomorrow! Oh yeah!! It's a new phase in life for sure but I am excited!! We're getting a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan in Billet aka silver. It looks like this pic.

    Looks like a nice van, Echo!! Vans these days are pretty sweet. I remember when I was a kid and my mom had a van it was so not cool.

    I really don't want to go to class today. Damn 1 hour class. Ugh. I have to clean when I get back, this place is disgusting.

    Boo to one hour class!

    I'm not gonna lie I'm excited for a van. We've had dh's dodge calibre which was not built for car seats. In order for me to fit in the car I had to sit in the back because ds' car seat made the passenger seat have to be up to far forward. So the room were gaining is going to be amazing!!! I had a van a few years ago and loved it. I was the cool 22 year old driving in her mini van.

    I'm so tired. I'm thinking of taking a nap.

    I'm also really annoyed because yet again I only have 1 day of work scheduled for next week. argghhhh. I cannot wait to start my new job!!! 
    Also, the heat in the store is broken so it's freezing in there. I'm thinking of wearing long underwear under my work pants tomorrow night when I go in. 


    Ya my best friend from high school has a jeep wrangler, so when she got pregnant they had to get a new vehicle because obviously you don't want to be taking a car seat in an out of wrangler! That's what I'm glad my car will be nice when we have kids. It's pretty roomy.

    Gah yesterday I woke up so relieved it was Fri and then an hour and a half later I was so depressed when it was only Thursday. Thank goodness today IS Fri. H gets home tonight. We have so much to do before the potluck tomorrow afternoon that both us us are going to be busy tonight. No relaxing for us!

    We are going to see If/ Then the new idena menzel Broadway show on Sunday. It's premiering in DC. Yay!


    Yay for a nee van echo.

    Ugh. I just filled out all the paperwork for my new job. I had to pick up the new hire packet on Monday, then I have to take it back.
    This coming Monday I have to go for my drug screen and to get my forced flu shot. I'm annoyed. I never get a flu shot, and I don't like being forced to get one by an employer.

    In the human medical profession a required flu shot is almost guaranteed and for good reason jlq. I wouldn't be surprised if it is the norm for you from here on out.

    Ya, I know. My sister works at a hospital and she's been required to get a flu shot for years also. 
    I still think it's not right to require a person to get a flu shot without offering an alternative. The hospital my sister works at offers their workers to wear a mask while at work during flu season if they don't want to get the flu shot. This place doesn't even offer that, they just said if I don't get the flu shot, I can't work there. That bothers me.
