Neighborhoods in Richmond, VA
My hubby and I are relocating to Richmond in the next 3 to 6 months and I am beginning to look at houses, I was hoping to get some help on the best neighborhoods. We don't have kids yet but will in the next 5 years so safety is a big consideration.
Re: Neighborhoods in Richmond, VA
I'm in the process of looking now. Can send you our realtors name if you'd like. We were told to stay in the Chesterfield area for the best schools. You might also want to avoid the Henrico area as the schools out there seem to not do as well and from what we would tell there are a lot of neighborhoods out there that are foreclosures or walked away from.
Another thing that may or may not be important to you. We've never lived in an HOA or anything that had any convenants or restrictions on the property aside from the normal stuff that the county/city puts on there about easements and such. The Richmond area is very HOA/restriction happy.
