a few rounds of clomid and femara... no response.
injectables/IUI 12/12... BFN
Feb 13 IVF cycle converted down to IUI due to low follicle response... BFFN
one last IVF attempt April/May 2013: 19 retrieved. 10 fertilized. 2 transferred in a 3dt. 4 frosties... BFP!!
EDD: 1/21/14... Induced early at 36+6. Our LO was born 12/30/13

Yesterday was our shower. It was so great! I was super anxious about being the center of attention, so I begged DH to stay to help take the pressure off me. I'm so glad he did.
It was a brunch held at a local restaurant (originally built in the late 1700s). My mom and MIL co-hosted (that's them in the picture with DH and I). We had 50 people total...friends, family, and coworkers. We played a few games, ate, and opened presents for what felt like hours.
I cannot get over the sheer generosity and excitement of everyone there. I got a little overwhelmed half way through and had to step out for a minute. I actually ended up crying a little at the end when saying thank you. I just feel so lucky to have so many great people in Rosie's life. She is going to be one very well loved little girl.
We got almost everything we need. I'll have to get a few more basics (plain onesies, socks, and diapers mainly), but we are totally set on everything else now.
I can't believe that it's already come and gone. It's making everything seem much more real all of a sudden. It's really made me realize that in just a few weeks, we'll really be bringing home our little girl. So crazy!!
