Good morning campers. Time to rise and shine!
Went into work early this morning and staying a little late. Planning to flex out the day after Thanksgiving. I personally think it should be wrong to make people come back to work for one day after a holiday.
House inspection today after work.
Re: Monday
Happy Monday!
Mark- I also hope your home inspection goes well!
As for me, working a short shift 10-3. Then it's home to work on my essay that is now late. I totally spaced out and forgot about it. Whoops. At least this professor will accept it, even if it's late. I'll take a crappy grade over no grade. and I was doing pretty well in the class to begin with. So that's my Monday.
01.21.2012---> I married a redhead I'm crazy about.
04.2016: IT'S A BOY! Elias Alan is due!
WDW trips: 05/14 (1st trip! Art of Animation; Little Mermaid), 05/15 (Pop Century!). DL Trips: 12/15
My monday consists of being up crazy early with Lily, we've already done nap 1 today. I need to go to the store for some panty hose (eww) since I have to dress up for class tonight to give a presentation.
For what its worth, open houses really don't do much anymore. You seem to get a lot of "tire kickers" than anybody who is seriously interested in potentially putting down an offer. You also have to remember this is the off-season. While you can sell houses in the fall/winter, most transactions happen over the late spring/early summer as people with school age children don't want to move them in the middle of the school year.
Lets hope it doesn't come to that. Your biggest enemy is going to be days on the market. After a certain point, if you do get offers, they'll probably be lower as people will think you're desperate and/or will be wondering what's wrong with the property since it has been on the market so long. Also, I found out that my insurance company won't cover unoccupied property. Fortunately, my policy hasn't renewed yet.
