So I went into work today to drop off my time card. The woman working the front desk is a friend (well, the surface kind where you like them and maybe go shopping with them). As I was dropping off my time card, this was the (loud on her part) conversation we had
Her: "Hey! How was your time with Jared this last weekend?"
Me: "Oh good. I was nice spending time with him."
Her: "Did you conceive?"
Me: "Uhh, what?"
Her: "Did you conceive? You know, a baby?"
Me: "Uhh, not that I know of"
Her: "Aww, but when will you know?"
I quickly changed the subject, but seriously, who asks that in the middle of the office? We're not even trying right now...Rude
Re: Nosy
This was part of why we never told anyone we were going to try or rather not avoid. We didn't want all the questions of "did you" "are you", ect.
I think the questions that bugged me the most during pregnancy that were TMI were at the end. I had people asking me how much I was effaced, dilated, ect. Not necessary information for them.
There are some pregnancy shirts I would love to have. One says "if you didn't put it there, don't touch it" hehe
I was always really careful with my cousin, and I asked her general questions, and left her share what she wanted. She did tell me a lot of stuff, but I didn't ask either. It was good to know, because besides you guys, she is the only person I know that has been pregnant that I have been close to.
