Nothing new over here. Really looking forward to Thanksgiving so the Holiday season can commence.

After 8 years with a pink, turquoise and purple tree theme, I am switching things up. My husband is delighted. I am going to DIY what I can to help lower the cost of acquiring new tree decorations. I'm going with a neutral tree this time, think burlap and shades of gold, silver, and cream. I just picked up a can of Looking Glass spray paint, and will be attempting faux mercury glass ornaments tonight.

Not much going on here. We did the Ferber method on both boys and we had great success. We're all sleeping and in MUCH better moods. Still trying to figure out nap time though bc Colin just FIGHTS it.

Can't wait for the holidays! More so for the boys first Christmas (even though they don't know what that is). Just trying to figure out what to do for our Christmas card and getting their ornaments made, etc.

My MIL wants to sit down with The Dude and I and talk. I'm really not sure what she can say that we haven't heard from her a billion times. Hoping to get that over with this week so I can go back to my life and ignoring her when possible.

Things are going well here. I'm pretty excited for the holidays. I just ordered our Xmas cards and J's first Xmas ornament

Lachute - what did you get for their ornaments? I want to make something with handprints but I'm always curious what others are doing. I'm already feeling behind on the card, etc.

I can't even take all of the adorable kids around here, for serious. We just had the kid's Christmas pics on Sunday. Photog said she'd post teasers this week. I'm so freaking impatient. Reminds me of waiting for my wedding pics!

Really, things are the same as ever. The kid is getting bigger and smarter and crazier and funnier and more affectionate every day. He is truly the funniest person I know. I could totally do without the tantrums though.

We're still on the hunt for a house. We're so picky because we only want to do this once so we're trying to hit if not all, at least most, of our criteria. I'm so over renting.

I'm getting really excited for all of the holiday stuff coming up though!

these are ADORABLE. I kinda want to steal this idea. But on the other hand, I kinda want a handprint ornament. I might have to do both! I like this because it'll hold up forever.

We house hunted for 10 months. I refused to settle. Don't give up hope.

Do you want our house?! haha. We've been throwing around the idea of moving up in size a bit but like the first time around - the starts have to align and the house has to be perfect for us.

Nothing new here! I just wanted to chime in saying "ADORABLE" to letranger and kernal's children. But, I am getting excited for the holidays. We are hosting Thanksgiving for the first time this year, and hoping all goes well. Oh well, if it doesn't ....can't stress over the little things

Still on maternity leave for the next week and a half. I have mixed emotions about going back. On the one hand, I sort of miss my job and am looking forward to some time with adults but on the other hand, I'm dreading having the leave her everyday. I'm going to do three days in the office and two days at home through December to settle back in. If anyone has any advice for easing the transition, I would love to hear it.

Other than that, Little B is doing great. She is going to be 12 weeks on Friday. The time just flew, and I'm also looking forward to her first holidays. I went a little crazy at Macy's today buying holiday outfits/dresses.

Things have just been busy here. Charlie is in kindergarten and Sam is in pre-k, they go to the same school but are done at different times. SO three days a week I am loading up the baby and going there 3 times. But they are both doing great and I am really happy with it. Next year they will both be at the public elementary and taking a bus, so I won't feel like I am constantly running back and forth.

Evie is doing great, knock on wood she has sttn the past few nights from 8pm to 7:30 am. She is such a happy baby, we are so lucky

I am on house arrest due to kidney stones and percocets. I am so. bored.

We got our family pictures back this week! I am beyond thrilled with how they came out! There is a link in my signature to my blog, if you want to see more.

Otherwise, the monster is 2 now, so of course we are fielding questions of "when are you having another"? It's a little annoying because I really want to be pregnant right now, but I've got some medical issues that need handling. Fingers crossed by the end of next summer, I will be announcing.

HI EVERYONE!!!!
So glad I have a few minutes to poke around here. Things have been crazy busy for our little family. Looks like I'm finishing the semester with straight A's, something I have never done before. I am also working hard at securing funding for next year's tuition that includes no loans, there is a lot of ground work to cover. John's show got picked up out of Atlanta and is going to LA and he's going with it for 2-3 weeks in February. B hates his school and John and I are really at a loss of what we should do. Little dude has also decided to drop his nap most days, so he's a raging asshole by the evening. I know it's tough on him, but it's not exactly easy on us. That's about it.

Hi everyone!

Love seeing the updates and pics of all your little ones! They are all so cute!

My little Henry is 12 weeks today-time is FLYING by! We have been pretty busy trying to enjoy the weather before it gets too cold and introducing the little man to our friends. He is so much fun and I am really enjoying getting to know him, but I'm still trying to figure out how to manage time with him and still getting everything else done!

I will be returning to work on a per diem basis so I will mostly be a SAHM but working when they need me. I also had an interview with a really great health system yesterday that wants me to work on Saturdays which would be PERFECT for our childcare situation and a little extra pocket money for me so fingers crossed that it will all work out!

@amerbutt81-if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask-I am right down the street if you need help with anything!

Heya guys! These baby things require a lot of work so I haven't had much time to nest. Henry is doing great. He'll be 11 weeks this Sunday and is really starting to become his own little person. Breastfeeding has been quite a challenge but I've refused to give up which is working out on the weight loss front; I'm already 10 lbs under my pre-pregnancy wieght! I got the gym for the first time today so hopefully I'll be able to get back into my jeans soon. Not sure what else to update you on. My days are pretty repetitive with the baby care stuff. I'm looking forward to the holidays and to Henry sleeping through the night (at what age does that happen again?!).

I'm loving seeing all the cute kiddos here!

Things are going well here. I have been SAH since June, but just accepted a PT position at a company I worked for out of college. I am pretty excited - not my field of interest but really good pay for what I'll be doing. It will give me a great balance to work three days a week and the commute is less than 10 minutes.

DD is getting so big and so hilarious. She is into everything now and talks a lot. Tantrums are more frequent than I'd like for only being 14 months old, but I'm learning strategies to curb them a teeny bit.

hey everyone! keep the cute kid pictures coming! we just did DS's holiday shoot the other day so I'll try to post one when I get them back.

As for me, work has been crazy. The end of our billable year is November 30th so I'm busting my rump to get my hours in for a bonus...which is more than needed because we came home from my family thanksgiving weekend only to find out that our water heater is leaking (we think) and the basement was soaked with a giant puddle in the storage area.

Other than that I'm preparing for the holidays. DS will be 18 months soon and is a total handful. He's great but never wants to sit down. he is saying a few things but not a ton and I wish he could tell me what he wants! The other night I tried a bunch of different foods before I figured out what he was looking for... black olives. Duh!

DH is ready to start trying for #2 ... or should I say was ready months ago but I somehow missed the memo and he was upset when I said I wanted to wait until DS was 2 before we try again. Now he is thinking February... I'm still thinking June. Not sure how we are going to figure this out. Any suggestions???

Bite your tongue! I'm nervous that #2 will be #3 as well. No reason. Why. I've just always had a feeling I would have twins. Thought it was great as a kid. Now I realize how much work and money it would be!!!

Hey everyone! I'm a little late to the party here (what else is new) but wanted to say hey!

Things are good over here. Still trying to sell our house- had a couple come through twice in three days for showings last week and we thought they might have wanted to make an offer, but they want to keep seeing what else is out there. So maybe we'll hear from them again, who knows...I'm kind of hoping though that we don't get any more showing requests until after the holidays. Just too much work on a 'normal' day to get 2 kids and 2 dogs out and the house clean- holidays will just totally complicate that all!

DD is loving school and dance class- her newest additions to her schedule...still doing storytime, music class, and swimming...she has a more rounded life than I do!

DS is not walking, but running everywhere. Still won't sttn on his own- he's killing me. He does music class and swimming...and he tags along to storytime. I am struggling with some guilt, because I remember really sitting down with DD and playing, reading, etc., and that just isn't happening so much with DS

Other than that just getting ready for the holidays. We go to DH's aunt's house tomorrow, and then have varying Christmas-related celebrations on various days to fit in DH's mom and dad and their families, plus my families and some close family friends we do holidays with. It's going to be a busy few weeks!
