Re: s/o The Chillow

  • my husband used to be the king of buying infomercial crap.

the item he purchased that I liked the most was a pancake flipper!

we also had this blue shirt folding thing, so his shirts could be folded perfectly.

and he once bought me a travel mirror that had this cord type thing that wrapped around your neck so you didn't have to hold the travel mirror while you were looking something. it also came with tweezers. that was weird. but worked. he thought it would be great for camping.

    there were so many more.

  • We have bought a Ninja blender and a knife set from infomercials.  Not sure if the blender really counts since they are sold in stores too, but I love that blender!  It's so awesome!  The knifes are good too and are still sharp after two years of having them.

  • We have the Ninja blender also, and that thing is worth every penny!

I really want the water hose that re-coils back up after it's empty.  Since we argue about who is going to wrap up the hose after using it.

  • The only thing I can think of is the Ped Egg. It's gross, but I love it.

  • Ninja FTW!  We got ours as a wedding gift (we got the cooking system too, which is just as awesome!), so I doubt they got it from the infomercial, but still.

I never bought anything myself, but when I was a teenager convinced my parents to get me this painting roller, which had two heads (it came with different texture options too) and a split paint tray. It made the walls look like they were sponge painted, depending on what colors you used and how much you blended it.  It was awesome!

Oh yeah! I totally forgot I've got some space bags. MIL recommended them. They definitely help contain the loads of extra bedding I've got stuffed in the spare room closet!
