Beth-Scandal spoilers inside

didn't want to post in the other one since I promised no spoilers....but have to dish with someone! What do you think Mama Pope has been doing? aside from being locked up, of course. what was the reason for shooting down the plane?? My theory (though maybe far-fetched): she was the one going on board with the dirty bomb they mentioned. Papa Pope found out, took another person off the plane as a diversion, had the plane shot down but removed Mama Pope all to cover it up.
Also, the increased frequency of Scott Foley in the episodes this season makes me very happy.

Perosnally, I'm thinking Mama Pope is just as "evil" as Rowan / Eli. But I don't know about a dirty bomb... because the only one who's ever mentioned it was Fitz's father, saying they had good intel that there was a dirty bomb on board. I was thinking more that there was no dirty bomb at all, and Rowan & Maya caused the whole diversion to get Mama Pope off the plane and still shoot it down for a totally other reason. And that they "fed" the intel that there was a dirty bomb on board as justification. They were covering something up. I think it's going to come out that both Olivia's parents are no good, and it will shake up her entire world...
I say this knowing full well that I'm infulenced by seasons past of the show Alias which had similiar plot lines. (Which Emmy, if you never watched that one, it's a GREAT show which is even better when binge watched !)
I didn't watch Alias! maybe that will be next summer's binge watch
